USC Museums is guided by our belief in the power of art to connect us to our deepest humanity and that of others. As such our work is a values and action driven enterprise that takes a difference making approach.
Museums are no longer show-places, they are do places. Our mission at USC Museums is to catalyze campus and community connection, engagement and exchange leveraging the accessibility of art to explore the biggest issues and questions at the center of our lives together.
Every exhibition, program and initiative under USC Museums enlists two campus and two community partners who work across differences and alongside our museum staff from beginning to end. Setting collaborative creativity and discovery at the heart of all that we do, is key to amplifying the generative and social changing possibilities of art beyond our museum walls.
